We've been celebrating Rosh Hashanah...
Yesterday we went to the lake & celebrated our sins being in the sea of forgetfullness...
We started by reading Psalm 30
Next we read Micah 7:19
Then we emptied bread crumbs from our pockets into the water
Finally we read Psalm 118
Today I stayed busy making the special dinner.
I made Challah Bread, Baba Ganoush, Carrot Kugel, Potato Latkas, Sweet Potato Casserole, Roast with a Wine Reduction Sauce, & Honey Cake with an apple/rasin fruit compote for dessert.
It was SO Delicious! Beverly came over to celebrate with us & we talked/laughed all evening.
This was my first time making/braiding Challah bread.
Here's a pic to show my hard work...
(Isn't it Beautiful?)
