The GI doc called with the results of the biopsy from the Esophagogastroduodenoscopy.
Turns out, Travis does have an imbalance of bacteria in his system, because there is an obvious presence of H-Pylori! Yuck!
They called in 3 Rx's to Walgreens and he starts treatment this evening. He'll take 8 pills per day for 14 days. After that, they'll start him on Probiotics & hopefully that will reset his GI bacteria into a good balance.
It's good to know the cause. We're praying the treatment works quickly!
