Last night, after church, a mountain lion attacked our chihuahuas.
Lilly was eaten. Abby was slapped & has 3 puncture marks on her back.
We took Abby to the vet today. Her punctures are significant, but she'll be just fine.
The vet put her on antibiotics & pain meds & gave us ointment for the wounds.
I haven't cried yet.
I'm not sure if I'm in shock or if the Lord has given me Peace.
Travis will be hunting, of course. The killings need to stop.
I can't believe my Lilly is gone...
